Dear creature (since I'm not sure if you're a human or a monster or an animal or something pretending to be another),

I throw my arms as a symbol of "thankfulness" for visiting this oasis. But just so I know who's specifically knocking at our oasis's front door, do you mind if you register or log in?

You're currently wandering outside our oasis as a ghost. This means your face is unrecognizable and you are limited to certain areas of our oasis and there are some abilities you don't possess. If you become one of us, you'll be able to access monster-only sections, and use many monster-only features such as having a slimy profile, sending monsterosas letters, and a lot more. Monsterification is simple, fast, and completely free.

Do you have what it takes to become a monster?

If you're already a monster here then please slobiverate your details below in order to access all the features you deserve: (Plus, you'll get rid of this annoying reminder.)

The Mystery of the Green Dot; It was hiding in some of the comic scans

I just noticed this "green dot" yesterday when I was editing some of the pages of M.A. 8.

Here's the (more closer) version: (Sorry I put a "full screen version" there even though it does not fit the screen. I just realized that the words I used are wrong.)
Posted Image

Okay then, here comes the funny part, all of the pictures I've taken with the same camera has all the green dots.

That's right, you can see it (specifically on M.A. 4, 5, and 6.) You can also see it on M.A. 7, 8 and 9. However, you can not see the "green dot" in some of the pages (7, 8, & 9) of the comic scans because I edited some of those pages.

You can see the green dot on the lower left corner of every picture I've taken.

Look at this.

Okay, I'm just bored so I created this topic. Hope you like it though.

^Yeah, it might be in the camera. (In the lenses, I guess.)

Oops! Looks like you might want to clean your camera lens, there :) I've had that happen, too - it's a bit frustrating when you think you've gotten the perfect shot, then you find that pesky little spot...! I think it should be fixable, though.

I really hope it the green dot will be gone if I cleaned the lenses. I'm trying to do that if I have time. Thanks.

There's probably something wrong with the cameras sensor if it is always on the same spot of the picture. Use a photo editing software (e.g. Photoshop, Gimp) and check if the spot is always on the same spot of the picture. If it is, I guess that the sensor is damaged or something like that. But of course, first clean the lens etc.

Yes, it is in the same spot. You can see the green dot on the lower left corner of every picture I've taken.

Thanks for the advice, mallu. =)

Asked about a friend of mine who is a photographer, he said that most digital cameras have already in the beginning a dead spot on the sensor (like LCD displays have often dead pixels regardless if they are factory fresh) and there may come dead spots also in use. He also said that some professional photography shops program digital cameras so that the camera fills the dead spot automatically with the colors found in the pixels surrounding the spot.
Also the size of the spot depends on what's the format used to save the picture, jpeg makes the spot larger than the pixel that really is damaged but in raw the spot is sized only one pixel, if there's only one pixel damaged.
Systems cameras have usually an open sensor so that there's usually trash on the sensor. There is only one manufacturer that makes systems cameras that have a closed sensor but they are very expensive and the cameras have usually other problems.
